A well-designed lighting scheme can completely transform a hospitality space. It creates the perfect balance of comfort, style, and functionality. For this project at the Burrendale Hotel, we carefully and purposefully selected lighting throughout the venue. This approach ensures enhanced guest experience in every area, from the lobby and lounge to bedrooms and function spaces.

The function room received a decorative lighting upgrade. We designed it to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It suits weddings, celebrations, and corporate events. The selected fittings add elegance and character. In addition, they provide comfortable illumination for a variety of occasions.

Within the bedrooms and bridal suite, we focused on relaxation and luxury. Soft, layered lighting creates a calm and inviting environment. It gives guests a comfortable retreat. It also adds a subtle touch of sophistication to the interiors.

The lounge and bar areas were designed to feel stylish and welcoming. Decorative feature lighting establishes a relaxed ambience. As a result, guests feel encouraged to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. This applies whether visiting for a drink, a meal, or a social gathering.

In the hotel lobby, statement lighting creates a memorable first impression. Carefully chosen fittings enhance the interior design. They also provide a warm welcome for arriving guests.

We worked closely with the interior design team throughout the project. As a result, every lighting element complements the hotel’s overall aesthetic. This creates a cohesive scheme across the entire property. The design combines elegance, comfort, and practicality throughout.

Great lighting plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere of any dining space. For the Fiveways Diner project, we aimed to blend character, comfort, and visual interest throughout the interior.

We used a combination of bespoke and decorative fittings to create a unique identity for the diner. In particular, the bespoke drop pendants form striking focal points within the space. They add personality while delivering effective illumination over key seating and dining areas.

The carefully selected wall and ceiling fittings complement the overall design scheme. In addition, they introduce a balance of contemporary and vintage-inspired elements. Matt black finishes add a modern industrial touch. Meanwhile, antique brass details introduce warmth and character. Together, they create a welcoming environment for customers.

As a result, the lighting scheme feels both stylish and comfortable. Guests can relax, enjoy good food, and experience a memorable atmosphere from arrival.

Whether visiting for a quick coffee, a family meal, or an evening catch-up, the lighting sets the perfect tone throughout the diner.

Lighting incorporated into Fiveways Diner Project.

When designing a productive and inspiring workplace, lighting plays a vital role. For Inicio Interiors’ offices in Dublin and Newry, we aimed to create bright, functional workspaces. At the same time, we introduced stylish design features that reflect the company’s modern approach to interior design.

The Dublin office combines practical task lighting with decorative statement pieces. As a result, the environment supports both productivity and creativity.

Track lighting and recessed spotlights provide flexible illumination throughout the workspace. Therefore, key areas remain well lit while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. We selected custom-configured downlights to suit the office layout and lighting requirements. In addition, they deliver comfortable and efficient illumination for daily operations.

A standout feature within the space is the striking Maytoni Albatre Trio installation. By combining all three pendant sizes, we created a unique focal point. Consequently, the design adds visual interest and a touch of sophistication to the office environment.

To further enhance functionality, we incorporated desk-mounted and under-desk power distribution units. This ensures easy access to power and connectivity. Meanwhile, it maintains a tidy and organised workspace.

The Newry office follows a similarly modern design approach. It focuses on simplicity, flexibility, and performance throughout.

Surface-mounted track lighting provides adaptable illumination across the workspace. In addition, we designed a bespoke linear feature using bi-emission steel linear luminaires. We connected them to form a near two-metre continuous lighting feature. As a result, the installation adds architectural interest and strong ambient lighting.

Complementing the scheme, high-performance downlights deliver comfortable general illumination. Therefore, the space feels bright and welcoming for both staff and visitors.

Overall, the completed lighting design across both offices balances aesthetics and practicality. It creates contemporary workspaces that are functional and visually engaging.

Creative design and thoughtful lighting transformed this former metal container into a warm, welcoming coffee house. This project proves that great spaces come in all shapes and sizes.

The goal was to create an inviting environment that stands out during both day and night. Therefore, we developed a carefully selected lighting scheme to enhance the container’s character. In addition, it ensures customers feel comfortable and welcomed on arrival.

To build atmosphere, we installed festoon lighting around the coffee house. As a result, the space feels warm, charming, and socially relaxed. Furthermore, decorative wall lights and pillar lanterns enhance the outdoor setting. They help create a destination where customers can enjoy coffee in comfort.

Practicality also played a key role in the design. For example, dedicated car park lighting improves safety and visibility for visitors. Meanwhile, warm white LED tape above the serving window highlights the service area. It also creates a welcoming glow for customers.

As part of the Riverside Church renovation, Clanrye Lighting supplied a decorative suspended luminaire. We specially adapted it with an extended chain and flex. This allowed seamless integration with the existing drop-down pulley system.

This bespoke approach positioned the fitting at the ideal height. At the same time, it respected the church’s traditional character and architectural features.

We selected the fitting for its classic styling and adaptability. As a result, it provides an elegant lighting solution for heritage buildings and places of worship.

Its traditional design enhances the historic interior. Meanwhile, the extended suspension system offers flexibility for high ceilings and specialist installations.

In addition, its durable construction and dependable performance ensure long-term reliability. Therefore, it delivers both a practical and visually refined lighting solution for the space.

This project demonstrates how carefully considered lighting can support the restoration of historic buildings, preserving their character while meeting modern lighting requirements.

As part of a modern house renovation and landscaping revamp, Clanrye Lighting supplied a carefully selected range of outdoor lighting solutions. These enhance both the functionality and visual appeal of this stunning seafront property.

In this project, we combined stylish wall lighting, discreet ground illumination, and practical pathway lighting. As a result, the outdoor environment feels welcoming and usable long after sunset. Furthermore, the layered lighting design adds depth, highlights key landscaping features, and improves safety along walkways and outdoor living areas.

We selected the fittings for their contemporary appearance, durability, and reliable performance. In addition, they complement the property’s modern architecture while withstanding coastal environmental conditions.

Consequently, the result is a beautifully illuminated outdoor space that blends aesthetics with practicality. It enhances the overall character of the home and garden seamlessly.

For this installation, we selected a collection of contemporary decorative lighting to complement the property’s modern interior. A combination of statement ceiling fittings and elegant accent lighting creates a cohesive look throughout the home while delivering the ideal balance of ambience and functionality.

This project shows how the right lighting can transform a new-build property. The result is a stylish, inviting home that reflects quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every space.

Developed in collaboration with Complete Lighting Controls Ltd. This smart home project in Tipperary focused on creating a clean, architectural lighting scheme seamlessly integrated with an advanced KNX lighting control system.

Rather than relying on decorative fixtures, the design centred on discreet, high-performance lighting solutions. This enhanced the home’s architecture while creating a comfortable and inviting living environment. Carefully selected adjustable LED downlights were installed within airtightness boxes. Furthermore extensive LED tape lighting was incorporated throughout the property using shadow-gap and plaster-in profiles to achieve subtle, seamless illumination.

Warm white COB LED tape was installed throughout key living spaces. These included the kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedrooms. While IP-rated solutions were specified for bathrooms and other moisture-prone areas. This layered lighting approach adds depth, warmth, and atmosphere while preserving the home’s minimalist aesthetic. Premium wiring accessories in antique brass and matt bronze finishes further enhanced the scheme, providing a refined finishing touch that complemented the interior design.

The result is a sophisticated smart home where lighting is fully integrated into the architecture. The result delivers exceptional flexibility, comfort, and intuitive control. By keeping the lighting discreet and unobtrusive, the design allows the architecture and interiors to take centre stage. This created a beautifully illuminated living environment.

For this Stadium Box VIP Suite renewal, Clanrye Lighting’s primary focus was to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Furthermore we wanted to incorporating modern lighting controls to enhance the overall visual appeal. Thus, a carefully curated combination of decorative and functional lighting was used to transform the space.

Vintage-style bulbs and amber LED tape lighting were integrated throughout the suite to enhance its warmth and character. Their soft amber glow creates a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere, offering a welcoming and sophisticated environment that is ideal for entertaining guests.

To provide greater flexibility, colour-changing smart bulbs were installed within the spotlight fittings. This enables the suite’s lighting scheme to be adapted to suit a variety of events, moods, or team colours, creating a dynamic and immersive experience for visitors.

The result is a sophisticated VIP space that seamlessly balances comfort, style, and functionality, providing guests with a truly premium experience on match days and at other events.

Creating Warmth, Character and Atmosphere Through Lighting

We were proud to contribute to the refurbishment of Joe Mac’s, Portadown, working alongside Wayne Martin Design. Together we delivered a lighting scheme that perfectly complements the venue’s traditional character and welcoming atmosphere.

The lighting design combined a variety of traditional-style fixtures to create depth, warmth, and visual interest throughout the venue. As a result, the scheme feels layered and cohesive.

In particular, dining spaces and feature zones became a clear priority. Therefore, we incorporated large industrial-inspired pendant lights in these areas. We installed these fixtures to deliver both functional illumination and strong decorative impact.

Decorative wall lights were used throughout the restaurant and bar areas to introduce an additional layer of ambient lighting. These fittings added character to the space while softening the overall lighting scheme and enhancing the traditional aesthetic.

Enhancing Architectural Features

To enhance the architectural features, we used amber LED tape lighting within selected joinery and architectural details. This created subtle accent illumination throughout the space. The hidden lighting layer highlights textures and materials across the interior. It also adds warmth and depth to the overall scheme.

We combined decorative fittings with amber vintage lamps and concealed LED lighting. This approach ensures a comfortable, inviting space full of character. It avoids overwhelming the interior design while maintaining balance and cohesion throughout.

Creating the right ambience is essential within hospitality environments, and the lighting scheme at Joe Mac’s was carefully developed to strike the perfect balance between practicality and atmosphere.
